Victoria Nathanson paints carefully observed animals, and still lives of flowers, vegetables and well loved objects set within the landscape. She works in oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel. She is always working on small paintings of Putney inspired by Reflections in Puddles, and Wandsworth park and the River.
Recently she has been working on a series of marine life and wildflowers from North Cornwall and Holy Isle in Lamlash Bay, Scotland. These reflect the importance of the environment for many creatures such as bees and clams.
Victoria trained at the Byam Shaw school of art. She has undertaken a wide range of commissions from small graphic work, to large scale paintings of Flora and Fauna and participated in numerous mixed and single shows.
